5 Simple Tips for Glowing Skin That Won’t Break the Bank
Contents
Don’t you just love that feeling when you leave a spa? You feel transformed. Dull skin becomes bright and shiny; almost as if you’ve found a diamond in the rough. You’re a radiant, brand new woman. Well, what if I said you could actually get that same glow in the comforts of your own home! There’s really no need to spend the big bucks or take a whole day off in order to take a trip down spa lane.
I’ve spent years researching and studying how to properly take care of your skin and it really comes down to these simple tips:
Hydrate!
It’s sound simple. But, we’re mostly water. Skipping out on drinking what we’re made of is a big mistake. Water is nearly free and it’s the most effective thing you can do to improve your skin. I’ve made this mistake in the past. I’m ashamed to admit it. But, I used to spend my days drinking energy drinks and my nights drinking cocktails. My skin paid the price. Switching to herbal teas and filtered water was an immediate game changer.
Move
Another free one! We all get lazy at times. But, just a little movement goes a long way. A brisk walk for 10 minutes a day (especially while still in a fasted state) will work wonders. Ever heard of a rebounder? It’s a fancy word for a trampoline. Those are amazing too. They get the lymph moving and the blood flowing. Besides traditional exercise, you can literally move your face. Massaging your face can stimulate collagen production and release tension.
Exfoliate
It’s a little gross. We’re all covered in dead skin cells. The solution: get rid of ‘em! Get a dry brush, like this amazing one I sell on amazon (hint, hint), and take off that layer of skin that’s hiding your true you.
We’ve sourced a brush with natural boar bristles and perfectly placed nodules to help move lymphatic fluid in a manner far superior to our competitors. The body is now primed to remove troublesome toxins. In addition, the brush improves circulation and minimizes cellulite. A pretty good combination! That’s how we tune up our body.
For our face, we want something a little less harsh. I love cleansers with AHA’s (alpha-hydroxy acids), specifically, lactic acid. Research shows it increases collagen with none of the inflammation associated with other products.
You can use it daily to keep your skin crisp and clean. Our new all natural lactic acid cleanser will be available soon.
Use a Toner
Most skincare routines lack this critical step. After cleansing, use a toner to balance the skin’s PH, reduce inflammation, remove residual makeup and harsh chemicals, minimize pores and reduce redness. This step preps the skin to fully take in serums and moisturizers as well. Warning: avoid toners with alcohol. These are extremely drying, the opposite of what we’re looking for.
That’s why our C.S.M Rose Aloe Witch toner is alcohol-free, fragrance-free, paraben free, and chemical free.
We use rose water, aloe, and witch hazel to get the desired facial effects. Plus, we add in MSM, Irish moss, kelp, and Vitamin B5 to really produce safe, fast results.
Moisturize
Ok, this one might seem obvious. But, moisturizing is a critical step to making our faces beam. If you choose the right product, it can turn back months of wear and tear to the skin in just a couple of uses. My favorites include rosehip seed oil for face and body, products with ceramides, and my all time favorite, Hyaluronic Acid. One of the big pluses is you can apply these serums and moisturizers with face masks! You can check up on your favorite SnapChats while the products soak in.
There you have it. A quick and easy guide to glowing skin. These small steps can go a long way. If you’re tired of knowing that your skin isn’t living up to its full potential; if you’re dreading that upcoming conference, reunion, or another event; or, if you just want to glow from head to toe; these guidelines can be transformative. You’ll be amazed to see the new you in the mirror; all in just minutes a day.
Here’s to healthy glowing skin!

Ohhhh I want to try these products so bad!!! I love anything to do with skincare! I’ve been looking after my skin since I was 14 it’s funny friends used to come for sleepovers and would always ask me to do facials on them as they would always see me doing it. None of my friends ever looked after their skin with regular treatments like I did they’d always say we are only young… but guess who now looks the youngest now that we’re in our mid 30’s… I am literally dying to try this toner of yours ????
